Yep, your command is correct. You could also simply rename the directory to CentOS-Base.repo.bak using the same command, simply replacing “cp” with “mv”

sudo mv /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo.bak
